The highpoint of our weekend was the documentary film Beyond Ipanema – Brazilian Waves in Global Music. The title says it all: Guto Barra’s and Béco Dranoff’s documentary explores the on-going influence that Brazilian music has on the sounds and trends of international youth culture.
