Berlin Diary: Monsieur Chat at the Hamburger Bahnhof

     |    Monday, der 15. November 2010

Over the weekend I visited ” Soma”, an exhibition about mushrooms and urine at the Hamburger Bahnhof. A review from the Roving Reporter will follow later this week. But lo and behold, what did I find when I slipped into the tunnel that connects the main hall to the art trailers in the back? Nothing other than a lovely and lonely graffiti wall covered with doodles made by visitors who wanted to show that they have what it takes to be exhibited in such a prestigious gallery space.

And of course I wouldn’t fail to mention the lovely cheshire cat sticker in the upper right hand corner! Who would have thunk it? The same flying cat with wings that graces billboards all over town. I’d love to know who does ‘le Chat’!
